BrokenC
I reskinned a Chinese Assault Rifle and it all looked good in the GECK. I put it into a good location and then loaded up the game. When I got to the location the item was there and it looked just how i had expected. However, when I picked up the item its 1st person and 3rd person textures reverted back to the original Chinese Assault Rifle textures. What do I have to do to get the applied "World Textures" to apply to the object when it's being used? BrokenC
TheChan
You have to make a new first person object. All the existing ones are at the beginning of the list under World Objects->Static. Make a new static with the assault rifle as your model. This static should show up in a drop-down labeled "1st person model" or something like that. You can find the drop-down under the Art tab in the weapon properties.

TheChan
Every first person model uses a high-res version of the base texture. These textures are under Texture Sets, in the Object Window. You can either create a new texture set, or disable the high-res one by going to the nif selector, as if you were changing the .nif, and deleting the new textures.
