astrob0y
Ive solved it by playing in "Windowed mode" and the nused fakeFullscreen with "GameCompanion 2.4". No more stutter and I can also alt-tab without instant crash. Best of luck
Deleted3619564User
astro is right.....but i saw in your post......80 fps?! It's impossibile. Are you sure? The vsync caps the fps at 60. Do you not use vsync?!

Carah
Oblivion Stutter Remover helped my game a little with lag. If you don't have it you can get it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/23208/? Also, UESP Wiki offers a guide on tweaking your Oblivion game for better performance http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:TweakingMake sure you back-up your Oblivion.INI before making any changes.
Rennn
Doesn't the Oblivion Stutter remover cap the game at 30 fps?I don't think that's a bad thing, I cap all my games at 30 fps. I just thought the OP should be aware of the possibility in case it does, because I don't remember for sure. Anyway, an uncapped framerate will cause stutter. Vsync at 60 may help with that, or it may not, depending on what's causing the stutter.
Deleted3619564User
@ozm8:You can manage the fps cap in the Oblivion Stutter Remover.ini that is placed in the same directory of the plugin (.\Data\obse\plugins).The vsync is a MUST. There is no reason to disable it and there is no reason to have a fps too high (over 35-40 fps) because the human eyes are not able to "view" it. The goal is making Oblivion "smoother", not having a high frame rate. Oblivion is an old game and has a "bad loading object system". You can have the fastest pc in the world, but Oblivion will stutter anyway. You need OSR or windowed mode to avoid stutter.

I play with OSR and winowed mode (fake fullscreen with http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42956/?). No shutter and the game is also a lot more stable.
