Rock with no Collision?

I recently came across a rock in the CS from the Colovian Highlands called CHRock165. I liked the size and shape of it, so I decided to use it for a mod I'm making. I dropped a few in the game (an interior cell, which shouldn't make a difference, just thought I'd mention) and now when I play the game. I find I can walk through them. That doesn't seem right.

 

Is it known that this rock has no collision or could it be a mod conflict or what?

I don't know about that specific rock but a lot of others have faulty collision. That also goes for interior cells where you can fall through walls as I found out recently. The Leyawiin Fighter's Guild Basement is one example. One of the walls has no collision.

 

In that case you can use a collision box (World Objects\statics) to stop falling through the wall or place on on top of or below the surface of a rock to solve the issue.

 

Being able to walk right through a rock though sounds like it doesn't have any collision at all.

I imagine the only way to fix that if you want to use that specific rock is to add collision yourself by editing the mesh or use another type of rock.

 

Having said that, I've never used rocks in an interior, but that shouldn't affect collision I would have thought.

Yeah I wouldn't think it would either be affected by type of cell its in, as collision is in the Mesh itself. I used some collision boxes and it works great, for a temporary fix at least. Thanks.

 

I know all about walls lacking collision, I used to jump through the Bloodworks wall and kill Porkchop for training. Until I figured out I couldn't get out ;D
