Download Mod but it doesn't end up in Plugin

Recommended Posts

I really appreciate that but what's a LO? (I know I'm such a noob when it comes down to things like this!). On another issue Fallout: NV on my computer can't run at 1600x1280, I have had it set at 1280x960 for the entirety of the time I have played it but when I changed it to the higher settings it comes up with, 'Failed to initialize renderer. Unknown error creating the Gamebryo Renderer'. Sorry I'm such a hassle!

LO = Load Order > while in your Nexus Mod Manager -- plugins page -- look at the left side > right under the green check is a tab that looks like a page ... click export current load order to clipboard then paste it into a reply window in this subject.

My advice stick to what is working for you > if it works @ 1280 x 960 then keep using it ... I have to ask what is your native pc resolution & what Operating System are you running on ( mine is Win 7 so I right click on desktop > change resolution to check)

the game engine is having hiccups rendering your game @ high because your machine is not capable > you can try by upgrading to the latest Video Card drivers and Direct X and see if it helps ... also read that some user disabled then re-enabled the video driver but I can not confirm if this method works or not >

in the nexus mod manager > in the mods section > you need to install the mods ... downloading them doesn't mean they are installed > double click any of the mods dled mods to installed them, then they will show up in your plugins, make sure that they are ticked b4 you start your game.

i'm sorry that it took so long for me to clear this up for you ... the answer was right on the title of this post & I should have figured it out immediately

Philips 226VL display has a 22 ws > do you have a decent graphics card to run it?

okie ---> pick a mod any mod --> download via mod manager --> you will still need to install the mod before it can function --> then you will need to make sure it is activated in the plugins page before you start the game

when you showed me your load order there were no plugins listed ... the only thing on it was FalloutNV.esm & nothing else

I have the same issue that he is describing. With the 48.2 NMM my mods activated just fine and showed up in the plug ins. But now that I am home and using my tower pc I updated my NMM and posted the same mods but they aren't showing up in my plug ins. Nor are they showing in data files at the start of the game. If I play on my laptop that is still 48.2 everything is fine. So explain how this isn't part of the latest update?
