Lemonpieman
Just to be clear, I've used "BOSS" And it reorganized all but 4 of my mods, so I doubt the loading order is the problem. I also recently tried to change the map loop.bik along with installing 20 mods or so, so that might be the problem. But if it is, i can't find the original .bik. Lemonpieman
I've also tried deactivating all of the mods, and it crashes anyway.
ipegot
reinstall and dont install 20 mods at once and wonder why your game doesnt work suddenly. ;)
Lemonpieman
How could it not work? Seriously, this is a brand new Oblivion with no save games or anything.
ipegot
the only time my game has crashed at the loading screen was from a mod conflict. if its still doing it with them all disabled a file must of been replaced with something you installed and its causing a problem. the only option would be to reinstall. Lemonpieman
Even if I did, how would I not make the same mistake?
Lemonpieman
I've made a little progress, I tried deactivating the Omod's entirely, and that made me able to get vanilla Oblivion up. I might be getting somewhere.
ipegot
Well if disabling an omod cleared up the problem I'd isolate the mod and either see if there's a known issue with that mod or just don't use it at all. If you have to reinstall Oblivion install one mod at a time and make sure your game works. When it stops working you've found the mod that was the problem <.< Last time I installed oblivion I made a back up copy of the data folder in case I needed to revert back to the install state <.<
Lemonpieman
It appears to becoming from OOO, which is incredibly odd considering I installed that months ago.
