Skoran
So I have both streamsave and Animated Window Lighting System and Chimneys installed (and better cities)But streamsaves only shows the lights in the windows when I am really close. What options do I have to edit so I can see all the lights in a city in streamline? I tried setting lights/shadows to 0 but it did nothing. octavius243
If you have set Streamsave to purge cell buffers, try turning that option off.

Should be an option there. If not edit the sr.ini file.Note that if you edit ini file you have bring up the menu in-game and choose re-initialize ini file for the changes to take effect. bben46
The entire premise of the streamline mod (Streamsave is a small part of it) is to allow a player with a weak computer to play at a higher fps than their computer would normally achieve. It does this by reducing view distance of objects on the fly as you play. If you have set your Streamline options to a high FPS, it will accordingly reduce any visual effects that it needs to to achieve that FPS. In essence what you are doing is trading visual effects, such as animated window lighting for higher FPS numbers. Animated lighted windows takes a lot of computer power, so naturally streamline will reduce its effect to the minimum view distance that will allow the minimum FPS you specified when setting up streamline. I find that any FPS above 20 is usable, and 30 or more is good. Before upgrading my video card, I used to use streamline, I set the minimum FPS to 20 and the Maximum to 30. that gave me the best result for my setup. And I still would loose sight of things in the near distance at times. The loss was much greater if I was using the detect life or any other enhanced visual effect function at the time. The result was that as long as my game FPS was at least 20 streamline would not reduce the visuals. Note that Streamline v3.1 is a beta that will never be finished as the modder has left Oblivion modding. There are some bugs. I recommend dropping back to v3.0 for more stability.
