jkjkjkjk
The idea is simple; there are many pose and animation mods out there that will let your character and NPCs do them, but they're not permanent. If you leave and come back, the NPCs are back to default idle, if you cast a spell or do anything, you lose the pose/anim. What I am requesting is for a mod that allows you to save whatever pose/animation happens to currently be in use by the player or NPC and save it as their default idle that is persistent. It would be pose pack agnostic as, and i could be wrong, the idea is to do something like [psuedo code]: Player.default idle = current pose or animation Thnx for reading. Plz reply with any feedback. khaell
I think You are using Personality Idles mod. These Idles are not permament to make them dynamical, changeable. for example - "default" Man idle pose. If it would run non-stop, You will notice character "standing" in the back of Horse etc. All crouch, jumping etc. animations are made for orginal idle pose, and noone still made full animation replacer. Theres maybe few weapon idle mods where character is still moving legs to rorate.Btw. Dont know if that mods does what You want, but try Mayu's Animation Overhaul. jkjkjkjk
Was looking more at something I've seen other mods have where you walk in and people are dancing always. I would want to use it on NPC's that are always going to be in the same general area. Like a dojo room; put 3 NPCs in there and perma-cast Umpa martial arts animation mods, just for immersion's sake. Maigrets
If you want the NPC's using the same idle animations I believe it would require packages and or scripts to force them to continue in that idle animation. Otherwise they only run for a certain amount of time and revert to their default idles. It can be done with Tokens and scripts. See link below. If you have Shivering Isles maybe have a look at how the dancer or the juggler are set up to perform their animations. Or alternatively, look for NPC's in the vanilla game who continuously use a particular animation. Offhand I can't think of any. They all do what they are programmed to do then go on with their other packages. For example an NPC who sweeps the floor with their broom or using a hoe in the garden, might give you somewhere to start. They will have packages for you to look at. New animations are one of, if not the hardest thing to create and replace in the game. For setting up idles this might give you somewhere to start.
