RoyBatterian
Drithius: Thanks, forgot to remove those. Yes I know about the plugin limit, it doesn't seem to affect me but I have been working on merging things the last couple of days. It's a task that takes a lot of time to do by hand. But I'm learning a lot in the process so it's no big deal.I want to reduce the amount of files as much as possible, I've been taking care of other issues first. alienzerox
have you been using the FNV Plug-in Utility bc that is really helpful ... you need the 1.7 and python
RoyBatterian
I haven't tried any automated methods yet as I've read they usually don't work very well for the more complicated mergering. I'm merging things like Drithius' AWOP fixes into AWOP itself for instance, after I removed the balance changes which I don't care for. Just that alone took me many hours of editing, so it's a long process. I would have found those extra plugins and removed them shortly, but it's nice to have a fresh set of eyes on things. =] Edited March 11, 2014 by RoyBatterian
alienzerox
well it's really not automated ... you still need to pick and choose which one to make the patch then run it to see if it works ... good thing is that you don't really need to alter anything except clean the plug with FNVedit b4 you mess with it ... plus if the merged patch is a fail you still have the a cleaned esp to to run and play with ... so win win in my little book of tricks... another is save after each and every add in ... then ghost extension the ones that worked or just move them to a safe locale
