LE How about some love for the Orcish weapons, people?

You can find orcish weapons really early in the game, since they are the next step in damage value after steel weapons. But since you can't forge them or improve them more until lv 50 in smithing, steel weapons are usually preferred due to the improvement bonus, until you can forge/improve Elven or Dwarven weapons. It's just a shame, I like the Orcish look, especially with the Better Shaped Weapons mod.

 

Could someone change not only the damage ratings of the weapon sets, but also their place in the loot level list? In vanilla, the order is

 

Steel -> Orcish -> Dwarven -> Elven

 

and I would like it

 

Steel -> Dwarven -> Elven -> Orcish

 

In short, Dwarven weapons get the stats of vanilla Orcish weapons, and so on. With this change, all weapon sets will get their fair share of love at the appropriate time.

Changing weapons' stats is easy enough, I could do that myself, but there's also the random loot level, which I've no idea how to change.

 

So please, show some love for the Orcish weapons!
