tpower
Am I having a bugg? Maybe related to vista?Or did I simply just forget to do something:S?Please help me!:)
Pronam
A common Vista/Win7 problem which can be easily fixed. (Concerning the Heightmap-editing then. I don't know the other benefits.)Right click on the CS.exe Click properties. Go to compatibility, then set it to run in windows XP.You'll have to grant Admin privileges every time you start it up (you don't have to click for it, it will ask automaticly). So, it is the best thing to only set it that way when necessary ;) For some reason it refuses to save, indeed. It might have to do with that it will freeze in general, but vista doesn't agree that it takes that long. And another benefit of using the compatibility. It doesn't freeze when it is loading up. So it will not stop at 10%, then skips to 100% at the end; ;). You'll be able to follow its progress more close. It is the question whether to run it at Xp comp all the time, as you'll have that bumping Admin rights box every time you start it up.another advice, using numbers before names in ID's can be risky to do..It might give some trouble later on. Pronam
Nah, some scripting problems could occur. But never mind that, it still doesn't work then? Reinstalling CS may help too, but it should work now...
