Merge Patch into Master help.

Is there any way to merge a patch plugin into it's master without creating duplicate records and references? Here's what I've done so far...

I use FNVEdit to Deep Copy As Overrides all the selected records into a new plugin, Then I did the same for the patch into the new plugin. It's creating duplicate entries for the same ID's however. I tried doing the same thing with FNVPlugin Merge and it did the exact same thing. I'd like to know how to stop it from doing that if it's possible.

Yes I created a brand new blank plugin. It seems this is just a bug with plugin merging tools they don't actually override anything they just add entries even if they are duplicate, so it seems I can't merge patch plugins into their masters.

Yeah if I want to do that kind of thing I'm going to have to do all the edits by hand... and that is just too time consuming so I'll have to find some other way to reduce the amount of files in my load order. I don't seem to have this issue with 139 or whatever tho... I've done 2 playthroughs with 180 or so.

Thank you blove, now I can merge a bunch of things successfully! This will surely reduce the amount of plugins I have by a great deal.

I still wonder what I can do to merge up things which are patches to another esp or esm. Let me give an instance so maybe you can help with my problem there...

I have edited Drithius' AWOP Balance and Cleanup to remove the Low NPC and Low Loot parts of it because I want all the NPC's and Loot. Now I want to merge this edited patch into AWorldOfPain(Preview).esm. Reading through the topic you linked me I see I can inject the new records into AWOP just fine (and taking care to check any new dialog). However the patches overrides are not copied in the master by Deep Copy as Override, it seems I have to manually drag those edits into the .esm. Maybe I'm missing something?
