Force70
Okay. So I made a mod that changes Skyrims coin system. Basically I changed the default gold coins (gold001) name and texture to copper, and then added in silver and gold coins. (You can find the mod here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51871/? ) But I got a strange glitch report from someone who downloaded my mod. The Copper coin has a bunch of what looks like black lines running through it but the other coins don't. Here is what he sees in game. http://i.imgur.com/qVFMn5a.png And here is what he sees in the creation kit. http://i.imgur.com/Sd5Zo37.jpg Any ideas what's going on? I've never seen a glitch like that before so I told him I would ask you guys.
Force70
Okay so I got another report of this glitch but I got a little bit more info this time. The other person says it started happening when he lowered the texture qualities from high to medium. So now I'm really confused. Could it be the anti aliasing messing up? Ravenlash
Okay so I got another report of this glitch but I got a little bit more info this time. The other person says it started happening when he lowered the texture qualities from high to medium. So now I'm really confused. Could it be the anti aliasing messing up? Regarding of what you have just said, I bumped my graphics to high and the glitch is gone. Now I turned off Anti-Aliasing while the rest of the graphics remained high, and the glitch is still gone. I'm starting to go through each option and will try to decipher which option is causing the glitch :)
Force70
Glad that it's gone. But I don't understand why lowering the graphics would cause this. But once you find out what option is causing the glitch let me know.
Ravenlash
Its the texture option itself, when I turned it down to low and left the other options on max, the glitch occured. After that I placed it back on high and placed the rest on low to check if the glitch occurs again (thinking there can be another culprit) and it didn't. As a fix, I believe you have to make a different texture version of the mod I.E: One for each texture rank: One for high resolutionOne for medium resolutionOne for low resolution Not entirely sure if this could fix it but its worth a try. Force70
Hm. Well I didn't actually make the textures. So I'll need to contact the person that made them. It's odd though that your only getting those glitches with the copper septim. The person that made those also made the silver one. So its odd that your experiencing a glitch with the one coin. Try replacing the textures with the original ones found here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45063/? maybe they got messed up when I was making my mod or something.
