illuknisaa
At fort independence rockfowl and morgan are hostile(the turret too). I haven't been there (not with this character) and I haven't killed any other outcast (I have bad karma). Casdin is missing. Do you know how to make them friendly? mechine
Karma can change how the npc's act toward you. Furthermore you could have clipped a Outcast with some friendly fire. Those noobs are always getting in the way. Then also you could have a mod which has changed factions in some way either from the mod's creator wanting to change it or making a mistake, whoops I would start by starting a new game, don't pay attention an just run down to fort Indy to see what happens. Then you know do like everybody else does, if the outcasts insult you or step on your toes shoot them off their high horse. Also you could get FO3edit and load up your load order, then look in the npc's for faction data, also the faction data entries themself to see if maybe something was overwriten, but you know depending on how the new game turned out, if they tryed to kill you or not. If they didn't try to kill you then it would rule out that a mod is causing it, only leaving user error (friendly fire) and also corupt save games as a cause. But I've also seen people mess with the cheat commands an end up in situations like this one. Even further it could be a perk that has gone haywire, or maybe that's what the perk does. Then again it could just be the Karma. There are settings in there that sort of tell the AI what to do, are they - or + or neutral, Which I think is part of the "aggro settings" It could be that Outcasts are set to be not passive at all when it comes to Karma. You could fix this with merge patch and OverRides (but then you can kind of fix anything with them)
Quetzlsacatanango
Wait 3 days or so and they should go back to being friendly.Alternatively, I have seen a mod on Nexus called 'de-enemyifier' or something like that that is supposed to fix this exact issue, although I have never tried it.
