WhiskeyRiver2
I'm trying to write a script that'll add a few new ammo types to vendor lists. So far all I've gotten done is the script name line. Literally anything else I type - even if it's just -one- letter on a new line - will not save. I always get the "Do you want to save your changes?" popup (even after hammering the Save button ten times), which of course doesn't do a damn thing if I click "Yes". Can someone with scripting experience tell me what the hell I might be doing wrong here, or how I might be able to figure out why exactly my script won't save? Mishaxhi
Your script needs to be compilable until it will save, you can't save scripts that will not run. All blocks need to be completed.
Deleted1205226User
Using Geck power up will let you save incomplete scripts. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41642/?
WhiskeyRiver2
I know that incomplete/useless scripts won't save with the GECK - but I've been running GECK PowerUp for a couple months. Even with that, I still can't save any of my scripts. I don't think there are any syntax errors, misspellings, or anything like that, so I honestly have no idea why it wouldn't work. Edit: Turns out I had an outdated version of the GECK PowerUp. About to give the latest a shot. Edit again: New version of the GECK PowerUp got me going right. Would've been a real help a few weeks back! Edited March 13, 2014 by WhiskeyRiver2
