Facebag Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 I was playing oblivion normally until recently when the computer crashed. The save files were extracted, and i moved them back to the computer after the operating system was reinstalled. After I installed the game again, clicking New Game and selecting "Yes" simply returns to the game menu. I also am unable to load any of my previous saves. When I try, I get a message saying "None of the master files used in this save game are loaded". Checking the Oblivion.esm file in the Data Files section doesn't help. Is there any way that I can play my game again, or is it ruined? If anyone on this forum knows anything about this, please help! P.S. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling using the uninstall option on the Oblivion menu; it doesn't fix this problem. In addition, the following plug-ins cause the game to crash before the title screen: horse armor, Wizard's Tower, Orrery, Thieves Den. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
