Wrye Bash not showing image upon importing a face

I hope I'm not violating any rules against repeat posts as this is a related question to one I've already posted; however, since it's much more specific, I thought it would be appropriate to post it separately. I'm trying to import a face from a game I had saved prior to installing OOO into a completely new game. I downloaded and installed Wrye Bash and followed the instructions about importing a face: I right-clicked on a saved game, clicked on "Import Face," and a box came up with my character's name but no image. The same thing happened with every saved game I clicked on. I went ahead and highlighted the name and clicked "Import Face" anyway, and received a confirmation message that the face had been imported. After that, predictably enough, nothing happened, which might well be because I have no idea what to do next.

I'm sure that I've done something wrong--perhaps because I'm simply not taking the next step, or perhaps in the installation of Wrye Bash--but I don't know what to do.

Could just be momentarily invisable.

Try to copy the image and proceed on.

There is no image.

Yes, this has been happening in the latest updates I've had as well. Don't be concerned just highlight the name of the face you want in the left pane, check the boxes at the bottom for the attributes you want to import with it, if any, and proceed as normal.

Make sure you've backed up the savegame file you are importing into, prior to performing the operation.

My problem was primarily that I didn't know what to do after clicking "Import Face." The way I finally solved it was by starting a new game, creating a character without touching any of the sliders, proceeding to the sewer exit, saving it, exiting the game, opening Wrye Bash and following the steps through "Import Face," then going back into the game, opening the saved game, starting the change-character sequence, then clicking "Reset," and Presto! There was my imported face.

I suspect there is a less cumbersome way of going about it, but as I intended to start a new game anyway using the changes from OOO this way worked out okay--though I would still like to know how to import it into a normal saved game.
