Tony the Wookie Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 im just telling you where you went wrong and why people got offended, that way you won't repeat the same mistake when people work hard at modding, they take things very seriously ;) Im not here because I injoy insulting people, I just felt like it was neccessary to deffend the honor of the "adult content" mods and just the same way you took what I just said as an insult, what you said to open this topic was taken just the same way and so everything comes full circle my freind But like I said, this stuff is not easy, and the fact that you have tried and failed should make you appreciate even more how hard it is to get a full quality armor into the game, much harder than a simple skimpy little dress, or even a full body replacer. As I type this on my other monitor is the base for the cyber ninja style armor that I plan to put in game, and at the moment I havn't even got the feet done or even started on the cybernetic plateing on the body... And I have already put over 4 hours of work into it... and I still have much much more to go, from details to unwrapping to texturing... and then rigging the thing so it will work in the game... Unless you had someone teach you personally, than you should know this isn't something that's easy to figure out. So can you honestly say that you couldn't just explain that to me instead of dropping a bomb on me? Yet still you speak with all this hostility when you know that I have had a misunderstanding. Actually, it's called google. It's easy to learn if you have the time and effort. And the skill. I will say there's a VAST difference between the good modders and say....me. I'm a horrible procrastinator but the world wide web has a vast array of tutorials for 3D Modeling, photoshop, and Nifskope, and the GECK. I even located several tutorials for putting weapons ingame on Nexus. Time and Effort my friend, time and effort. If you have the money then Amazon will get you a library of books on learning what you need. And on a final note your time would be better spent trying to learn to make the content you wish to see as opposed to telling other people to post what you want to see. P.S. I'm making a series of power armors (4 Male, 1 Female, and one that can be used for both) More complex outfits take more time so it may just be that the modders haven't finished them yet. It was pretty out of hand on my half, I guess I was just trying to say I was upset with mature content and side tracked a bit. Believe me my hat is off to all the modders out there no matter how big or small their work is (besides that dude with the child porn). I truly do appreciate and admire everyones work. I'd also like everyone to know that I did take everyones opinion into consideration as I have read everyones posts and although I somehow ended up seeming like I making requests, I by no means have intended to do so. I also have never had the intentions of offending or judging anyone by how they play the game. Mods are for everyones personal interests after all. That so looked like a link :( But yeah, wait a little while. Eventually mod focus will change some. By change I mean those that have been working on epic power armor suits, etc will have them finished and release them. The modding scene is still relativily new for Fallout. Smells like attention w#O73 stuff to me. Could simply put a post for new practical full body armor mods in the mod request section, but then it might be ignored, so places SEX in the mix to draw attention.
