Sergio1992
Hi,I've already made a topic like this one time ago, and I thought to have solved this problem. But it seems that this problem still plagues me and I'm not able to understand1- How do I fix it.2- Why am I having this issue.3- Why I'm experiencing this bug AGAIN. Because this one at least for me is a really troublesome bug that completely ruins my experience on tes nexus.I was surfing across the forum when I suddenly happened to step into this mod:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16949/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout3%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D16949%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D450520&pUp=1I've thought: maybe it was me overlooking it because I didn't check properly the top 100 of all times or I didn't search inside "new lands" categories. But this mod doesn't appear in both categories. So right now I'm thinking that I may have missed many mods. This should not be happening.Besides, right now I was checking if "Mothership Zeta Core" mod appeared on my tes nexus top 100 files of all time. And it doesn't. But the topic I've made one or two months ago tried to solve this exact issue (me not able to find mothership zeta core mod) and it solved it. But the problem is, the bug presented himself once again. So please, help me. Sorry if I may be sounding harsh, but damn, you've got a nice database of mods, and you make people unable to search for mods? If you are afraid some content can be unappealing to some people, just make a window appear as a remind where you can tell what you want or don't want to see (e.g nude) Edited March 15, 2014 by Sergio1992

bben46
It is not the job of the staff to set what categories a mod is in. That is up to the mod author. And many authors don't bother to set a category. If you don't like the categories set by the author, we also have a tag search, where you can help decide what tags a mod gets. Again, unfortunately very few users bother to tag mods - so it isn't just an author thing. It's a laziness thing. If you want tag search to work, tag mods. As for searching, unfortunately, we are stuck with the search capability the programmers of the IPB software package we use put in. If you truly want the multimillion dollar search capability provided by google - then use google - It actually works to search for mods and the Nexus sites are indexed by the google bots constantly. Nearly every time I look at the list of people on the sites, I see google listed - that is a googlebot indexing the site. If a mod that you like isn't on that top 100 list that is not the fault of the list. The top lists are the most popular based on downloads. And there are several different top lists for different purposes. - If you search through the entire top 100 list - at the end there is a 'next' button that will bring up the next 100 most popular mods, so it really isn't just a top 100 list, but a list of all mods indexed by popularity.
