Kruciallol
Did you attempt to remove the mod via NMM? I don't believe removing NMM itself will do anything in terms of removing mods, etc. If you did use NMM to remove the mod, make sure there are no remaining files in your Data folder. If you didn't, well, do so and then make sure there are no remaining files in your Data folder.
bben46
NMM is a mod manager- it places and removes mods from your game - It does this by copying the relevant files into the games own Data folder,. Removing NMM does not change anything in the games data folder. Because the game data folder is not a part of NMM, but a part of the game. If you completely deleted NMM without using it to remove the mod - then NMM can no longer manage that mod. Even if you reinstall NMM, and that mod is no longer in the NMM list - it can't do anything as you removed the information it needs to remove the mod. You will need to find that mod on the internet, download it manually - and instead of installing it, open it with a unzipping program - get the entire list of all of the stuff that was installed along with that mod. Then go to the game data folder on your hard drive find all parts of the mod , including all of the parts that are in all of it's subfolders :pinch: and delete each item separately. This is the way we had to manage mods before mod managers. And why NMM was developed. You can try reinstalling that mod using NMM - and telling it to overwrite any files during the installation. Then uninstalling it using NMM - that may work. And is much easier than going through possibly hundreds of entries in the textures and meshes subfolders. IF you had backed up your game data folder before adding any mods - then you would be able to just delete the entire game data folder and replace it with a copy of your unmodified backup - So, next time you reinstall - make a back up of that data folder before adding any mods and save that back up outside of the game folder.
