Climbing in skyrim

Well a climb mod might be actually be possible. So I was playing thief 2 the other day and really enjoyed it and wanted to implement its climbing mechanics into skyrim. SO I thought it up and here's my idea.

So what if the climbing mod allows you to just climb OVER just small things like crates, window frames, anything about head and below height. It could be done by making a script (more than likely with SKSE) that, when a terrain is within a certain height range (knees - head), the player can press a button (more than likely just the jump button) to play a small animation (better in first person) that moves the player from the bottom of the object to the top of the new terrain. I thought this would be possible because when Navmeshing you have to do a certain thing that declares where the edge of an open plane is (i.e the side of a bridge that drop off), leading me to think that there must be a variable like this (maybe the hitbox?) for objects, meaning that we could just make some rules and when they are met the player can climb up.

Those were just some thoughts, I've never really navmeshed or scripted before so if any actual modder knows what I'm talking about then can this actually be done?
