What about mipmaps?I don't think mipmaps are supposed to be enabled, since there is no LOD for the nebula, and the default file isn't 1:1 ratio. Rennn Posted March 17, 2014 Share Posted March 17, 2014 Not sure about the skies specifically, but I use DXT5 for all my other textures and it's worked so far.Also, maybe I'm being a noob, but I don't see how generating mipmaps could possibly hurt anything. ItsDolomiteBaby Posted March 18, 2014 Author Share Posted March 18, 2014 Well, since the sky is always the same distance, there's no need for LOD textures (mipmaps), plus, mipmaps must be square shaped; the nebula is rectangular.I'll try the DXT5 format.
