cyntec Posted September 13, 2009 Share Posted September 13, 2009 Hi There! I just finished the main quest. I had both Sarah Lyons and Faux standing outside when I died. When Broken Steel kicked in after the video though, Faux was still standing there even though I was in the citadel again and he still had the same lines as right before I went into the purifier. In addition I still have as my main quest to stop the purifier from blowing up even though everything's changed now, with people and machinery working at the purifier that weren't there before. And there's nobody waiting to explain what happened to me when I wake up (although I'm not sure if there is supposed to be). Does anybody know how to fix this? PS. n0t0ryczny Posted September 13, 2009 Share Posted September 13, 2009 Check the load order, I'm sure that some mod's .esp overrides the NPC's scripts. That may include Fo3 Phalanx, Project Beauty, FOOK without respective DLC plugin - just anything that changes those guys' data. to be sure, download Fo3Edit (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637), install and run it. Load ALL your plugins, wait until it finishes thinking and check the list on the left side of the screen. Find 'Fallout3.esm', click it and find Lyons. On the right half of the screen you will find number of tabs equal to number of files modifying Lyons' package. Those should be (from left to right) fallout3.esm, brokensteel.esm - and the file that changes the NPC packages and doesn't allow the DLC to start.
