Purely for display, Dual Wield.

Just wanted to request/or ask (if there is an exising one, because I never found one) for a dual wield mod, that is for display. This one mod would not require specific off-hand weapons, and allows you to wield any random/custom weapon as your second weapon.

 

Maybe change the animations here and there, but in the end, its just the same as one handed weapons, in the sense that you block and attack with the same power. Yet you have the animation and excitment of fighting with 2 swords.

Unnecessary Violence has one, although it's not for display, but does add new moves. And it's an extensive mod, past Dual Wielding.

 

Perhaps Dual Wield Complete? It has the offhand weapons of the vanilla weapons for sale to use with the mod, but you can also toggle custom weapons/unique weapons to your offhand by equipping a weapon, then selecting 'yes' when the dialogue box pops up. As far as I know, this one is just for display and the offhand acts like a shield.

 

Personally I use UV for dual wielding, cause it includes weapons-specific combat moves (Such as a custom power-attack for dual wield if your dual wielding) If new combat moves is what your looking for then UV would be the way to go.

 

For non-dual-wield related mods that change animations, and add new combat moves, I suggest the following if you haven't already gotten them (In order of Preference):

 

Deadly Reflex

Sudden Violence

Unnecessary Violence

Thanks, I'm using Dual Wield Complete now. I didn't really want to use UV because of FFP. Issues with camera mods and awkward animations IMO.

 

For the animations... is there a decent animation mod that changes how you wield all weapons, to better looking animations? If its too much trouble and you don't know of any, its okay.

 

 

P.S. Just a suggestion to any mod-makers who glance here, is it possible to make walking animations like those sexy walks, wielding animations like a new one handed wielding animation bound to a book, like that witch poses mod? As in, you can change themes/styles whenever you choose or whenever you like it.

 

e.g. Theme 1 is a Nazgul (from LOTR) weapon animation, which makes you hold one-handed blades with both hands but the sword is close to your chest/infront of your shoulders as you walk. When you switch style/theme to an anime looking one, they would switch animations so whenever you walk now, it would be the anime version instead of the nazgul version.
