David Brasher
Do you use Vista? Vista does not work with the CS unless you move your game out of Program Files. I have Vista and put my mods in:C: Games\Oblivion\Data. I have not heard of your specific problem. The CS is very unstable and is likely to crash at any time. You should save very frequently. Does the CS work for you at all? Can you save a mod where you have placed or moved an object, or made any other change to the game?

kpig
If you have vista, you dont have to go through the trouble of moving oblivion. All you have to do is search for the program system configuration. Once you've found it, open it and click on the "tools" tab. Next, click "disable uac" then click ok. You should get a window confirming the operation was successfull. Basically what this does is allows the user to access the program files and stops vista from asking you about everything. UAC stands for user access control. THis simply turns it off.
aceball69
Well the CS actually does work with vista. It works for me but I have to "run as administrator"...
