SNAFU mesh, reload ani

what's up doc?

 

 

 

Okay so,

 

 

There's this really cool mesh of a 8 gauge double barrel shotgun.

 

The freaking thing reloads like a guass rifle or whatever (gauss, gass, idk, I do bullets, not lazers, not yet anyway)

 

 

You know the reload that puts the little energy pack thing in the left side of the weapon.

 

 

 

It's messed up though.

 

 

 

1. The basic 3D shapes, for the moving parts were "copy branch" then pasted into a known good vanilla mesh

the sawed off shotgun, replacing the barrel an handle with the 8 gauge parts, set the names, and even tried

setting the numbered order to look like the vanilla mesh.

 

 

2.Created the weapon in GECK by opening a sawed off shotgun, then renaming it to create a new form.

 

 

3.Used FO3edit to change the reload type from A-K, which none worked, even though D is the split top shotgun one

Heck the dart gun one works better. LMAO!

 

 

4. Point lookout, those shotguns don't work either (which makes me think it's a really hard problem to fix, but I already knew that)

 

 

 

 

The only thing left I have for ideas is if I cut an pasted it again only reseting the position for each part just like the vanilla sawed off

even though this would certianly make it look totally weird, just to see if I can get the animation to work though.

 

 

 

It's kind of a deal breaker, there's some messed up animations that we can deal with, this one is just so bad I'd rather not even

work on the gun. Just delete it an replace this one or something...
