At the moment I do not have either the game or the GECK, so I was hoping to get someone on board and then make the first mod released for the games to be the teasers, although, I do see your point.

And sorry again with the dope thing, I guess the slang that is commonplace in my social life is not commonplace on the internets.

before you even go there, I bought it at Wal-Mart, the games for windows version.

I'm not claiming that you pirated anything, but why regret giving the game away, when it goes on sale regularly on Steam? You can buy it for like 10 bucks with all the DLC.

I'm not an experienced modder, nor do I have any experience developping games, but it seems really odd to me to start developping anything before you know much about the game engine. I mean, meshes and textures might be handled very differently by then. You could spend two years building a bunch of stuff that in the end for some small yet significant reason can't be applied to the game. For example, maybe by then meshes will have some sort of intelligence that allows them to bend and reshape themselves when in contact with other meshes....thus eliminating clipping.

Storyboarding is one thing, I guess. But even then, maybe Fallout 4 will have a space station in it, and that would make your idea pretty pointless. Not trying to be mean. I actually like your idea a lot, but like everyone else has said, this is really premature.

A lot can happen in two years.

That said, I'd play your mod if you made it for NV.

Well, isn't this something.

The PC version of F:NV was released exclusively for Steam, meaning there is no CD version. If you got your game on CD, it certainly wasn't from Walmart (that link is a "special offer" by Walmart, which then directs you to the Steam Store), and it is a pirated copy. Period.

No, in fact, there is a CD version, just like there is a CD version of Civ 5. You install it off of the CD, and it hooks up to steam. I then gave the CD to my friend, he told me he can use it, and I no longer need it as it is hooked up to my steam. I have lost access to my steam account and do not remember the email for it, and my computer crashed and I lost everything, as well as the few games I had for it (admittedly not many, Im more of a console gamer, not a good enough PC). Now I am regretting the decision of giving the disc to my friend because he has since destroyed it and I can no longer re-install it.

Does that outline the sequence of events enough for you jazzisparis? or do I need to go over the how the case looked and the section of the store I bought it it in excruciating detail, as well as upload a scan of the receipt?
