Level lock up - Broken Steel +

Hi, first post here - wish it could be a happier one. It seems a few people have this problem, so please forgive me for starting another thread on the issue, but I've spent the last 4 hours trying to fix the issue - to no avail.

 

I am at the end of level 22, trying to level up to level 23; I spend my points, and go to the perk screen, choose my desired perk, click done (or press A) and she freezes. I've tried disabling all my mods - still freezes. I've tried disabling Operation Anchorage - still freezes. I've tried doing the player.setlevel XX console command, either up or down ranks, and upon pressing enter the game also freezes.

 

Any ideas?

 

 

Running Fallout 3 Patched to 1.7 + all DLC's (Pitt, Anchorage, Broken Steel, Point Lookout) + give or take 25/30 mods of various types such as MMM, Fellout, Advanced Weather, etc etc

Have you tried disabling all mods and DLCs apart from Fallout, it is the only way but you wll lose everything you have earned and you must then use the setlevel code

only way I found and tried for a few hours almost, well trying as in shouting and snoozing but yea

I also know a few mods to help you get stuff easily ;)

Post me your load order if it still wont work

I've tried disabling both - but independent of each other. Would be a shame to reaquire everything, but if its the only way - its the only way. I'll give it a go and report back - thanks for the help :)

pigeon08 - thank you. I think that sorted out the problem. I have managed to get to level 23 now, using it clean and with the console code. I have downloaded the GNR fix mod incase there are any issues. Hopefully she doesn't do it again :)
