xaechireon Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I just bought it, and for the first time ever id Software has added voicing to their protagonist! I haven't gotten very far, courtesy of a problematic computer, but apparently you can buy weapon upgrades.

We both share the idea that this last one, although trying to be impressive with graphics and horrible nazi monsters, is quite dull and boring, and looses the immersion of the last titles.

(No spoilers though, please) :thanks: Massive let down. The Difficultly curve is all over the place. And the game starts to throw in VERY cheap moves near the end of the game. It is not a buy. A rent at best.
jaosals42 Posted September 19, 2009 Author Posted September 19, 2009 Hm... Thanks for the info. I'd like to rent it out for 360, but since I don't have that readily available for use, the only way I could try it out is through PC. I wonder if they have an online PC demo for it... :unsure:
jojo man Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 The gameplay feels like it's straight out of one of the older Call of Duty games. I really didn't like it. The hardest difficulty is an absolute cakewalk(even on the first playthrough) until you reach the last boss. Also, the last boss has no plot significance at all(he's just a thug for the main antagonist).
Halororor Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Played it for about an hour. Got bored as it had nothing interesting to it. A big waste of money for me as I'll probably never play it again.
