Scribe rothchild will not go to map after Broken steel starts

Rothchild " step over to the map if you please I want you to take a good look at it"

I wander over to the map and he goes every where but to it.

could it be a mod issue? Never had this problem the fist time with out mods so I think so but I really like my mods

I had the same problem fortunately this fixed it for me. Type in console: player.setstage XX000802 20" (with XX being the load position for Broken Steel.esm)

Hmm that’s weird well you could try „moveto player 0001F0C7” (0001F0C7 is Rotchild base ID) while you are standing next to map. It didn’t work for me but maybe will for you. BTW did you replace XX in setstage with 01? Because from what I see its your Broken Steel load number and it should definitely work it doesn’t make him actually show you anything on map but you can talk with him about mission assignment.

I remeber having this issue, to skip it i downloaded a thing called rothfix, somewhere on the nexus, it simply skips his entire dialogue or something and then after that has happened, save and turn the fix off, and continue on.
