SebastianCWS
Hi, FO3 GOTY dims sound volume everytime a weapon is fired, resulting in a very dissapointing gaming experience. I remember a few days ago in-game sound behaved like this: When sound settings set to default, weapons being fired used to be the loudest sound during gameplay. Well now it's entirely the other way around! Wind, music, and other sound FX have a high volume compared to any weapon being fired. Also noticed ambient sound FX and music increase volume while player is idle. Somehow FO3 dims volume while shooting and increases volme while idle. Anyone else experienced the same issue? SebastianCWS
SOLVED - For those who own a laptop with Beats Audio software pre-installed, you might experience volume swings after upgrading to Windows 8.1. This is solved updating IDT audio drivers through the HP Support Assistant client. After fixing Beats Audio volumen swings Fallout's gunshots and other sounds perform flawlesly.
