Fallout 3 cosplay

Hey there, folks.

Just a quick post to say that I recently purchased the first piece of my Vault 101 Security costume- a S.W.A.T style riot helmet from a local trinket-soda pop-Airsoft-supply shop.

It looks IDENTICAL to the game version and was a steal at just €28.

 

Currently, I'll be buying the "bulletproof vest" from the same store at a discount so all I really need other than a few fake guns is the all important blue jumpsuit.

I've asked around to several people and it seems the best bet would be a pair of electrician's overalls, however, they are very hard to come by and they're usually beyond my budget.

If at all possible, can anyone recommend a good shop or website where I can pick up a blue jumpsuit on the cheap?

(I'm based in Dublin so anywhere local or a site that ships internationally would be great)

I plan to use iron-on hemming to create the yellow trims though I'll probably go to a printing place to ensure I don't fudge up on the "VAULT 101" emblems.

 

The costume is going to be tested for wear-ablity on Halloween and then debuted at this year's Eirtakon Convention in November so time is of the essence!

 

I'd also like to hear of any tips or tricks to make the costume pop. I don't harbour delusions of winning the Best Costume award but I also don't want to look like some eejet in a crappy-ass costume. :P

 

I'll be posting up pictures all in due time so y'all can see how things are progressing.
