Creeper Mod help request

Hey there,

 

I'm at the point in Morrowind GOTY modded with MGEXEgui (that automatic install version) such that I have about 5 million gold and I'm spending a massive amount of time trading for expensive items with the Creeper. I have used the The ES Construction Set about 100 times trying to mod the Creeper to have about 500,000 gold to make this a speedier process. I'm tired of spending a third of my time trading instead of completing the game.

 

I have tried installing every Creeper Mod I can find and none of them are working for me.

 

I am following the instructions for modding using the Construction Set but the Creeper keeps resetting to 5,000 gold.

 

Would someone please throw me a bone and let me know how I can modify the Creeper or find an existing Creeper Mod such that I have joy?

My guess is you added those creeper mods after you bartered with him right? Once you enter a cell, data of NPCs inside that cell gets stored in your save file and data in save file trumps data in ESP or ESM.

 

So to make those mods work, you might have to edit the save file using Enchanted Editor. But if you haven't used it you might screw the save game. Best bet is console command.

 

Open console and click on creeper. His name should appear on console header. Then type "Disable" without quotes and hit enter.

Then type the following and hit Enter.

PlaceatPC "scamp_creeper" 1 128 0

This places new Creeper with the modified gold, hopefully.
