Skin texture mod help

Recently i got a new texture mod for skins, and it made the skin on the face look more realistic..

but the rest of the body was horrible and had black patches all over it.

I've been trying to find new textures for skin, but most mods just change the meshes, or only 3 things in the textures.

 

Ive been searching and searching, trying different things.

I tried 1 thing, and now everything except the face is rainbow colored.

 

Can anyone suggest something to help this? Would really appreciate it.

did you mess with nif files? or just textures and Geck?

i didnt change any .nif files but im not sure if any were replaced.

all i did was take texture files from a mod that only had textures and put them in.

It changed the skin and made it black in lot of areas.

So i put another skin mod on with different textures, and now this has happened.

I Changed it again, but its still the same effect.

Thats what my game looks like when ever i access menu or any kind of not in game scenario. Cept mine flashes like a rave show. But no texture problems. What body/skin replacer/texture mods are u using list some links.

 

Also make sure that you put the textures and nifs in your archive invalidation.

i dont remember what i was using before all this happened.

but the first thing i put on was "Skin Textures by Gabby Dust" in Project Beauty mod.

Thats the one that had black patches on the skin.

Then i put on "Roberts Male Body", and i'm guessing i was already using it before, because the meshes were still in the folder.

but it turned everything rainbowy.

I dont remember the other thing i've tried, maybe it was "typeV" or something.

 

It seems to only be happening with male characters, females (raiders atleast) are normal and completely fine, but male raiders have black patches and looks like the "Skin Textures by Gabby Dust".

Ye it would only happen to males because u only replaced the males. I would say try deleting the the files all of them from the skins and body mods and then do a fresh reinstall of one kind of body and texture and make sure to add it to your archive invalidate.
