Kirilov13
Question to all: Am I the only one that thinks Skyrim bears much similarities with Scotland? And no I have never been to Scotland.I mean in general: geographically with it's mountains, highlands, crags, and yes even the swamps; culturally with it's current rebellion and the nord "way of life"; and even architecturally in the forts, camps, and villages. Okay. Fine, maybe the similarities could be extended to the all the "British" Isles, but my point still stands, even if the foundations are a bit shaky. Anyhowza... If I may, I like the song Scotland the Brave and I feel that bagpipes would fit in nicely considering Skyrim's many aspects. I could easily picture a brave nord standing in the Reach or the Rift, etc, blow on a set of pipes and warbling out a tune for his homeland. Back to my point. I'm not talking a sound replacer but just a mod that adds in some scottish and/or celtic music to compliment Skyrim's vanilla soundtrack. I mean, the LotR soundtrack is pretty close to celtic at times and I've listened to my copy of the soundtrack while playing and it fits with a lot of the scenery in Skyrim. Same with music like Scotland the Brave. Scottland the Brave with some scenic shotssome celtic too Now I won't say to use those two examples and I wouldn't know where you could fine some free tracks to use but it's all just and idea with some off tangent chatter and a few examples. Insomniacway
i was seriously going to make a request that bards can use bagpipes Thursday. i think that would be really cool
Kirilov13
@Insomniacway Aye! Seeing a bard warble away on a set of pipes. I seriously blame this mod for reinforcing this idea in my head. Has a function to let you play horns and other instruments, and now I just can't shake the need for bagpipes.
