Project has a lock on it!

So when I put some armor/guns/new stuff/etc.

and I try to save it it saves but the problem is that I can't see it in the folder I saved it in (but I can see it in the GECK) but when I try to save it anywhere other then the Data folder in my FO3 folder it says invalid directory.

I had similar problems, I fixed it by running G.E.C.K. in administrator, right click on your shortcut and choose "run as administrator". If this works you probably won't see the your old edited datafiles in the G.E.C.K. anymore but when you save a new one it will show in correct data folder and work in fallout.
