skase007
Hi guys and gals. Must say after viewing and going through so many pages on the nexus im so impressed by the level of work that many of you go to in order to provide us all extra and wanted content! So firstly thanks!!! It takes dedication and so much time in some cases for this to be possible Anyway enough of that I am totally new to the modding concepts and scene *hides* and wanted to ask Could it be possible to create a 'VR' simulator like is used in anchorage and tranquility lane to enter a new 'land/ place / something"? i mean in like they used the machine and had the animation and also to take you to either a new 'real' map/place (created) It just sprung to me and thought hey that would be cool way to make some quests that fall out of the main area, and could be totally different environment (given its created of course) I got this idea trying to understand the GTS system and thought hey you could have extra'' countries.... why not extra 'virtual' realms. some bizarre quest perhaps that takes you into another VR scenario, or something totally off the rails from there.. sorry if this is in the wrong section or a rediculous post. i dont know if it makes sense, sorry once again if i don't Regards Simon
Khet
Yes this would be possible. All it would require is the modder to duplicate the original object (VR machine) and change the script on it to teleport the player to a different location, rather than the one Bethesda used. I'm suprised more modders don't use something like this, as it'd be a very interesting way to introduce many new mods.
