It only happens when I face that direction. If I turn to look down the roud (Taken at City Isle from Gate) it goes back to normal and returns when I face in that direction. Thanks. Carah
Seriously? No one will help?I wish I could help but I've never come across this kind of issue and I'm sure it's stumped other members, as well. You don't have a heavily modded game, therefore the only thing I can suggest is to completely start from scratch. Here is a great tutorial by Bben46 on how to properly uninstall and reinstall Oblivion: Oblivion Reinstall Procedure What I would do after doing what the tutorial instructed is install one mod, than go in the game and see if the problem lies with the mod just added. Do this with all the mods you plan on installing to your new game, until you find what's causing the issue. Good luck
Legotrash
Did you check the threads of the mods you're using? I suggest doing that for good measure. I've never encountered such a thing either but I guess it's a LOD problem so it could be a conflict between landscape mods. Have you tried uninstalling all your mods and see what happens? Who knows, maybe you'll be lucky and won't have to reinstall oblivion. I suggest reinstalling UOP and everything related to it because if I remember correctly it also installs LOD files and if they were overwritten at some point then you'll have to reinstall the mod to have those files back. StyrkrMunr
Thanks for the replies. At least you are trying, so I appreciate it. It's been a while since I looked into it so I'll start over. Something about it was a PITA, but I don't remember what. Thanks.
StyrkrMunr
Ok, so after two re-installs and a few hours narrowing crashes down to a bad config, I'm back in vanilla and the problem is not there. Time to re-install my mods one by one... Thanks guys! Update: It's UOP. No idea why it's doing that. I'm moving over to the UOP support threads. Thanks again. Legotrash
Ok,before you'll go nuts I'll ask you to do just one more reinstall and use Multiple Oblivion Manager so you can have a vanilla (not even UOP installed!) game available from now on. You don't have to but I see that the problem persists so if you'll keep starting from scratch it'll drive you mad. :P Now,when you reinstalled the game did you also install mods? It really seems to me that one of them is conflicting with UOP. The best way to check things out is to reinstall -> test it,install UOP -> test it again. No other mods before or after until you're done testing vanilla first and then vanilla with UOP. If the second test turns out good then it's one of the mods conflicting with UOP. I tried it vanilla and it was fine. As soon as I install UOP, and only UOP, the problem returns. I opened a new thread about it specifying it's UOP. The UOP page didn't give me any useful help ("verify your cache" no Sher Shitlock) so I'm waiting on replies there.
StyrkrMunr
Don't mean to Necro, but found out it's from the Horse Armor DLC, not UOP.
