I'm trying to gather every single item in the game. Every weapon, every clothing item, all flair, all straps. The problem I have is that in order to store items, I need to look in my inventory menu to see what I need to get rid of, memorize the name of the item, and then put it away once I open the storage toy box.

It would be so much more convenient if I could just open up the toy box, click on the item I want to store, and see what it's stats are before placing it in storage so I know whether I want to keep it in my inventory, or if I want to store it.
