Just wondering what the people here like the most in terms of what they fight with.

 

I'm a pole arm fan (Specifically Halberd)- Easy to learn, easy to make, and has great advantages over most other melee weapons. its a shame oblivion does not have these by default.

 

 

I chose bow and arrow - simple and conventional, not much else to say

 

Holy magic - Crushing the undead and deadra and playing a holy paladin type character has always been my favorite

I guess I'm being stereotypical...but:

 

One handers, preference on katanas. I shun anything longer, except polearms, so I don't use any two-handers. Mostly I like one arm free, usually to hold a shield.

 

Bow and Arrow - A good solid set up, I always believed that crossbows would break in my hands...or rust. And are a pain to reload.

 

Fire Magic - Pretty standard, I add a bit of death magic to it as well, but I choose fire nonetheless.

Longswords, bow and arrow, and electric magic. Those are the ones that I like, especially the electric magic as it moves fastest if it's a ranged spell.

No whips, rapiers, guns, blowing pipes, summoning, shadows, infernal magic, nature magic or blood magic? Ummm...

 

 

Melee slots couldnt be expanded anymore, so I couldnt get exotics like whips

Rapiers are a longblade

Guns are ranged(other)

Blowing pipes are ranged(other)

All those magic types are magic(other)
