jtsteele13
I'm really new to modding and actually applying mods to a game but i know enough about computers that i should be able to fix this.I downloaded a few mods and placed them in a seperate folder on my Desktop, then unziped them and put the .esp files in the Filepath C:\Program files(x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data. Then i took all the .nif files and put them in the Meshes folder and put all the .dds in the Texture folder. When i actually boot up the game and enable the .esp data files, the weapons and armor appear, but have a jacked up color issue. The lighting and camera angle seem to make it switch between regular colors and textures already present in the game. What am i supposed to fix this? And also, one of the armors doesn't even show up in 3rd person, it just has a large white exclamation point and a red field around my character. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, i really am lost on this one.

katashy
Dezis right, but to manually fix this, extract the meshes and textures FOLDERS into you fallout 3 data folder. Then merge the folders when asked. This is because the game is looking in a specific file directory stated by the ESP. If you just put the textures and mshes inside, then the folders its looking for wont be there and it wont work. Hope that helps. Also download ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated, link: http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 Install it and run the application, the select activate.
