Afroherbalist Posted September 27, 2009 Share Posted September 27, 2009 I dont know how to sort this out, I've been going around solo for ages because I wanted to carry on playing. I think it started after I left Fawkes at the jetty to catch that boat to point lookout. I stayed in point lookout for about 4 days worth of play, then decided to go back to the wasteland, because the game seems to crash more often when I go to point lookout. Anyway, I think it was then that I realised fawkes had buggered off somewhere. I went to the spot where you first bump into fawkes (thought some glitch might have sent him back there), but he weren't there. Im about 30 saves past the point where fawkes disappeared, but I want him to come back, because more exciting when your playing the game with another fighting character. Any ideas how I can fix this without going 30+ saves back in time, to before I 1st loaded point lookout? :thanks: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'll check, but now you've gave me this light of hope (lol), its been shattered by the fact that I cant even save anymore. Whatever solution you find to fix one problem, another bigger problem seems to appear elsewhere, strange. The same thing can be said about real life, in my experience anyway! Edit: Well the saves work again, but Fawkes aint in Underworld (thats the place you get the ghoul mask right?), even looked through the surrounding train tunnels etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I dont know about any other followers apart from Jericho (Im not evil enough to roll with him). If there are other followers, dont tell me, I'd rather discover them myself, but I really just want to get Fawkes in the game again. He was a well funny character, and it gives you a chance to fight properly, rather than just pressing V all the time (as funny and cool as VATS is). Any help would be much appreciated. Just pointing this out, fawkes is in underworld, not tenpenny tower, tenpenny is where the ghoul guy gives you his mask thing. Underworld is the museum of history, then inside of it is underworld, the city of ghouls... If he isnt there, try spawning him? i dont know much about fallout 3 except what you can learn through downloading mods and 100+ hours of gameplay, hope this helps a little bit. Now type the following:prid 2d9cf <enter>moveto player <enter>~ Fawkes should reappear near you.Try this in an open normal place, not in the middle of a ruin or an underground vault filled with rooms. if this fails, try the same routine, but use a different code :prid 3d34e <enter>moveto player <enter>~ Please make sure you make the exact same spaces as in the instructions above (for example:moveto[space]player) If he still does not appear - he might be dead, or you have a serious game bug. -Paramar Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
