Oblivion custom race:demon help

I downloaded the main files for the custom demon race, plus the horns/tattoos and molag bal's treasury, unpacked them into OMODm installed, ive got green lights and blue lights all the way. so, why is the race not appearing in the character selection screen? i saved in front of the sewer gate to save time =p

I have exnem's body replacer and male body replacer/beautiful people, i was told that those are needed even if your not into the nude thing, just for the custom race to work right.

 

I just cant figure out why the race isnt appearing! my akatosh flying mount spell is there, i KNOW the mods are on, if not fully troubleshooted.troubleshot? whatever, the point is, i must be missing somehting. Ionly have the unnofficial patch installed, nothing official...is that the problem? Or am i missing somehting else that'll reveal my incompetence?

I've basically learned through crash course tactics how to use OMOD and other mods, so I'm very new to this.

Also, if it's of any importance, i installed with an .iso file, mounted via daemontools. Doubt thats of any signifigance, but every little bit helps, right?

Edit: i also have recently found that the race screen is..glitchy. I also had another race pack installed, and the races worked, but their eyes went invisible (creepy and see through) and their bodies liked to turn purple O.o some of them also had fat faces, but thats easily remedied and mentioned on the download page =p. Oh, and one race just appears as a big blue blur, i havent tried actually playing it for fear of crashing. i disabled the mod, tried again, but the custom races are still there in all their incomplete lack-of-glory, replete with missing eyeballs. I'm not really sure whats wrong at this point.

Also, typos. not going to fix them, you know what im trying to say =p

get rid of beautiful people for one,it causes all kinds of eye problems

also just disableing a mod leaves the meshes and textures in place,you need to remove a mod completely for it not to conflict.

Thanks! I removed beautiful bodies from the omod folder, but i havent done anyhting with the meshes and wahtnot in data, ill try again.

Ive also found that Midas Magic doesn't work without version 1.2+

I knew that already, but i thought i HAD the patch. i don't. So I went to patch it, i figured this may solve my problems (not sure if the demon race mod requires 1.2, but it's better to try than not). The only problem is- the patch can't find the old file. I get the error (old file not found). I've tried U.S. and U.K. patches of 1.2.0416, but i've heard that the problem probably stems from the fact that I installed without a cd using in ISO file.

So, is there any way to get around this? I have the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, if that is of any signifigance.

Edit: Not sure HOW i did it, but it inkered around with the mesh/texture files, replaced some of them, removed beautiful bodies, and the demon race worked! yay! still cant do the patch now-it renamed my launcher file, and somehow unmounted the iso file O.o so midas will have to wait. Anyways, now im off to go find a suitable armor/tower mods =p. infact, ill make a thread about it.
