My Search

Hey all, first off, ive read the stickie's and im posting a new thread simply because this is a fairly large question with a large response

 

And to the response "search more" ive done countless of hour's of searching, the problem has become there's so many variations and thousand and thousands of mods out there that give a mix of what i want and dont want, and dont work and work, i dont have the time nor internet download space to try every one of them

 

so im gathering people's opinion's on there best mix of what im searching for

the mod Mix im after

 

• A Mod that makes the oblivion world more active, it feels so empty most of the time, you can go for hours without seeing a person and city's feel like there almost ghost towns during the day time.
   
   
  
• A Mod that improve's the general feel. look and movement of the game, such as better horse riding animations etc.
   
  
• A Mod that helps with questing, more quest information, some quests dont give enough ive noticed and some side quests are really hard to even come across ( maybe a dot above heads to show that person has a quest available? )
   
  
• A Mod that helps with weapon switching, its really a bother having to press tab, go to the menu, pausing battle to change weapons during battle. a quickswitch weapon mod would be really nice.
   
  
• Better body/design, the bodys seem unrealistic on females, well more anerexic almost, with no build or curves. i want a nice looking female, i know theres thousands of mods out there, but finding the right one is extremely difficult
   
  
• a Mod that adds better posing to npc's and the player ( without having to use some tool to manually activate it ) like for example, if i go afk, my character will do emotes, maybe stretch or something like that, and npc's show more emotes when talking to another npc, or to me
   
  
• Improving distance LOD. ive noticed even at full graphics, there can be distance lod issue's. or distance viewing, were tree's right next to you will res as you run by them, , even with the bars at full
   
  
• A larger world. beyond the borders, more to explore. distant lands, maybe a sandy area, like arabia lol. or something like that
   
  
• Last of all, boat travel would be nice, i remember seeing something years ago but i cant remember what it was called about working boats, id love to ride a boat across the oblivion sea
  

 

 

There's the list im after. basically im after an improved oblivion world beyond vanilla with more to do, more interesting features, and to feel like im playing a living breathing world, i know its a big list, but im sure each person has there own little suggestion for each question, please respond maturily and helpfully

Have you looked at the mods at all? Everything you ask for is there and easy to find. Start with the top 100. These are the most popular mods and include most of your requests. Then if you don't find what you want, try the search function, or the browse categories function. The only possible exception I see is the request for training wheels - a dot above a person's head when they have a quest for you. But I could be wrong. Someone may have made it and I missed it.

 

As for weapon switching - its a part of the game - its built in. The tutorial dungeon explains it. Up to 8 weapons, spells or objects of your choice instantly available by pressing the numbers 1 through 8 - your weapon is instantly swapped. If that's not enough there are mods that increase that to 16 or more and add things like complete clothing or armor switching

A larger world? Pick one - The current ones in the top 100 include Elsweyr the Deserts of Anequina and Gates to Asguard.

A more active world - try Crowded Roads

A better body? the current favorite is HG EyeCandy Body

posing? Actors In Charge

LOD? Qarls has some of the best
