Towards the end of the update process, the screen goes black, and I notice fallout 3 is trying to load itself up, before the update is even finished! This cant be right can it!? I get this with EVERY SINGLE UPDATE for the game, so I dont even know if the updates have worked for me or not. What gives? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I guess, to a Bethesda developer, such trivial matters rate higher in severity than say the game freezing and crashing all the time. To prevent this from happening next time: 1) Go to "My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\"2) Move the "Fallout.ini" to some other folder3) Run the update4) Close the launcher5) Move the "Fallout.ini" back Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
