Elven map redux help

Its been about three or four days, I've tried everything so far (that I've learned) and still i can't get this to work. I followed the readme exactly but i'm not getting something right.Could someone please give me more specific help on how to install?

If you're not using any tweaks or additional programs make sure you have updated your ArchiveInvalidation file. This file should not be replaced, but the lines that come with the mod added to it. I don't remember if that was in the readme or not, but it's the only thing that comes to my mind, other than proper extracting, of course.

The reason you are not getting much help is you have not given much detail. While you say 'I've tried everything so far (that I've learned) and still i can't get this to work.' you don't say what you have tried or what happened. The more info we have the more help we can give.

 

Did you unzip the mod before putting it into your data folder? Did you unzip the mod into your data folder?

Do you have any mods that work yet? What? Load order needed.

What version of Oblivion?

Do you have OBSE? OBMM? Wrye Bash?

Are you trying to install it as an OMOD?

Have you got the latest patch?

Do you use Shivering Isles?

 

 

You may have given some of this info in a previous post, but with several hundred posts a day it will not be remembered by the helpful people here.

 

Also, making multiple posts on the same problem does not help. Besides making more work for moderators (not a good idea) it creates confusion as to what has and has not been answered.

 

If you need to add info, append it to your existing thread instead of making a new one.
