raquo
Hello. I've been playing Fallout:NV since some time, modding it in various ways. I was using NVSE without any problem all the time, though yesterday I decided to buy a legit - steam version of the game. I bought it, downloaded it, and then tried to get all my mods back. Every single mod worked except of NVSE. I know how to install it, I really tried everything. Tried downloading launchers which include NVSE, reinstalling the game etc., nothing works. I also tried both versions of NVSE - stable and beta. After launching nvse_loader.exe, Fallout NV launcher opens, not the game. Then, after launching the game, all I achieve is normal game without NVSE - none of the commands work, neither does any mod that uses NVSE . I'm afraid that the loader is incjecting the essential files into the launcher, while it should inject them in the game. My F:NV's appid is 22380 which is the standard one. I tried two language versions - Polish / English. The fun thing is that Steam forces game to launch Launcher, but just the game exe would work standalone without any problems. I'm really dissapointed that this doesn't work. The cracked version worked, but I wanted to support developers of the game so I bought it, and now I cannt play my save or use some cool mods. If you need any details, just ask me. Here are the logs: nvse_loader.log http://wklej.to/cBNKW nvse_steam_loader.log http://wklej.to/zPvTD My OS is Vista x64, CPU i5 3570k, GPU HD6950. Thanks for any help you can provide for my issue! I already sent an email to NVSE developers, hoping that they can help me if you don't know what's wrong. jazzisparis
First of all, it is good that you finally came to your senses and decided to do the decent thing (buying the game). I'm sure you won't regret it. :) Are you using a mod manager? If not, I suggest you start using one, either NMM or FOMM. If detected, a mod manager automatically launches the game via the NVSE loader.
raquo
Yup, im using mod manager. It opens the game via steam (launcher shows up, in the cracked game the game opened directly) resulting in not injecting the required dlls. RoyBatterian
You have to run the game once with the original launcher and setup the graphics settings. Until you do that , nvse or other things like FNV4GB won't work. ;)
raquo
I did. Launched and closed the game like 20 times, I was trying to get it working all the time.

jazzisparis
Then you need to select Launch NVSE, instead of Launch Fallout: New Vegas. If that option is not available, it means NVSE is not installed properly.

If that option is not available, it means NVSE is not installed properly. It's obvious for me :)It is available, but it runs the launcher, and not the game. You can still launch the game from launcher but NVSE isnt loaded.
