Personally, I'm running new vegas on a mac with wineskin, so I don't know if I even can install it. But I like mods such as enclave commander, which allows you to control multiple troops and coordinate tactics.With multiple companion mods I can achieve the first half of that, but I think it would be interesting to allow you to let your companions do the fighting. essentially, I am hoping someone can make an object that causes the followers to randomly walk around the area. this would be ideal in buildings, as you could have them sweep the rooms. I'm aware that this is a clunky way to do this, but since the only other way is to hunt down the npcs and tell them to follow you, an object like an NCR radio make the most sense.I think the way to go about it would be to add a dialogue command that tells them to run around the area, and have a radio that calls back all companions. it would be a watered down version of the enclave commander mod, but the basic idea of your followers doing the fighting is still there, and I'm sure many people would appreciate it. It we'll be a lower priority than new requests, because I'm already working a request for you and we need to be fair to others (so theycan get help too). Although not nessary for zepplins simply crossing the sky (I'll just use setPos, and add a unit or units along a axis every second or fraction of), it will be essential for any piloted zepplin (ie "The Republic). But the big pay off is that it will open up a ton of new mods for you, and there may very well be one that fulfills this request (as you alluded to). You'll have to do your own search, as I am slammed for time, but check out Remote Control Companions. It might very well be exactly what your looking for.
