rookiesalad
Tried a number of hair mods with no success. I did a fresh install and am working only with a single hair mod at a time. Have archive invalidation running as well as FOMM but that's it. For the Good Hair Day mod, I downloaded the package with only the hair and eyes (no NPC changes) I put the .bsa and .esm files in my data folder, start a new game and at character creation I see the new hairstyles and can select them, but upon reaching age 16 my character pops up with the default vanilla hair. The same is true for other hair mods. With no other mods installed, I put the textures and meshes in their respective spots in the data folder (along with the .esm), can select them at character creation yet have vanilla hair when I reach age 16. Using "showracemenu" in game doesn't work either, and when doing so I can't even change from one vanilla hairstyle to another. Some facts that may/may not make a difference. Using Windows 7Fallout is a steam download (which puts it into my program files folder)Fallout is version 1.7 (which means it should be ok reading .bsa files)In FOMM during my tinkering my load order has only the Fallout3.esm followed by whatever hair .esm I am trying (eyes_hairpack_en.esp for HairPack, Hairpack.esm for A Good Hair Day, or eyes_hairpack_en.esp for Saram's hair) I'm about to pull my own hair out, thanks in advance for any help you can provide! SydneyB
rookiesalad, when you are 16 you'll have a default hair style, not the one you've chosen. Wait until you are 19, then you should see the style you chose at the beginning of the game :)
