[ReQz] Turn a static weapon into a real one.

Never thought I'd do one.

I wonder if this is possible in the first place, and if..if someone could do it for me..my skills are too limited for this. I don't think it is done before: Turning the one of the swords of the ShieldBronze static of the Fighters Guild into a real weapon. It is possible to un-attach them from the rest of the mesh.. unfortunately they are fixed together though...

I'm involved in creating a mod that could use those as weapons that will do no or little damage for the purpose of training. If someone is willing (If this is even possible :P) it could be released as a resource as I think many people could put different uses to it. I would only need the weapon as it is now, how ugly any modeller might find it too be..Though last time I checked rocks didn't reflect...and they seem almost too perfect as dummy-weapons.

If someone is willing, or could relief me from the thought that it is possible at all....it will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

(Why do I have a subconscious feeling that this has been asked before, but it is impossible? ;D)

Ha ha Vic..all I got out of that was.."can you split these swords apart and make a 'training' sword out of it"..well I can try as well as finish those shields..

Aah, I forgot the summary! Thanks! Hehe, be sure not to get caught by your brother first though.

If that's all you want I might be able to do it..and my brother really won't care..

Ok, thanks. Yes, no problems with a shield that requires a texture ;D. Take all the time you need, that mod isn't finished before at least 2 weeks from now. (Although the one I'm working with is quite fast..I might ask him to join EG :))

Won't take me more then a day(if I work non-stop) to do this [if I can], and the shields.

Yes, it looks awesome :D!

Ok well...I guess I'll upload it, I assume you know how to handle assigning the texture onto it through nifskope and stuff..oh and I didn't make a sheath..and I didn't scale it at all..and it ended up being slightly larger then an iron claymore. Just some things that are important.

Edit: Oh and the texture you'll want to assign to it is whatever the swords on the original mesh were textured to, I don't have Nifskope on my computer at the moment so I can't check..Sorry.
