rookiebob
Hi I've been trying to install the Obl. mod manager and can't seem to get it to work. When it asks where to install the files, I select the oblivion installation fold C:/program files/bethesda/oblivion. When I hit "next", a pop up comes up and says "Oblivion Mod Manager must be installed to the Oblivion Installation Directory". Now I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, my only idea of why it won't work is because it's a torrented version of the game, but oddly enough, I've installed the shivering isles and the official patch (both through torrents as well). Anybody have any idea why this crap is happening? I haven't had a problem with any other mods.

bben46
Sorry about your luck. Pirated versions often have problems. We cannot support pirated material, and actively discourage it. Come back when you have a legal version. Oblivion is not that expensive, and worth every penny. I recommend getting a real DVD version such as the Game of the Year version as it includes Shivering Isles and has the latest official patch built in. This is how we actively discourage piracy.Banned for piracy Bben46, Moderator
